How are the “Ireland’s Music Awards” Winners Chosen?

“Ireland’s Music Awards” are highly respected by the Irish Traditional, Folk & Celtic Music Industry at large because it is the voting public who decide who wins the coveted awards. The staff of “Ireland’s Music Awards” are not permitted to vote.

The awards criteria, voting and balloting procedures are established by “Ireland’s Music Awards” Board of Directors.

The eligibility period for “Ireland’s Music Awards” each years spans from September – July.

Irish Traditional, Folk & Celtic singles, albums, music videos, and qualifying products for the musical event must have been first released during the eligibility period.
