By Foot

Start off on Bridge Street at the traffic lights, opposite Xtravision Castlebar. Continue onto Main Street and travel for 200m to Heatons on Ellison Street. Pass Heatons on your right hand side and continue up towards the traffic lights
Continue straight through the traffic lights and travel 300m onto the Old Westport Rd. You will see the sign for The Royal and the Travelers Friend hotel will be on your right hand side. The Royal Entrance is at the left hand side of the Travelers Friend down the steps and into the right.
